MAJOR FIELD TEST (MFT)

The MFT assesses mastery of concepts, principles and knowledge expected of students who have completed a specific program of study. The test evaluates students’ abilities to analyze and solve problems, understand relationships and interpret materials from the major field of study.  More information regarding MFT can be found at ETS .

Missouri S&T seniors who are NOT majoring in engineering are scheduled to take the MFT test before being approved for graduation.  Students MUST register online for the exam due to limited space.  You may register online by clicking here.  Registration will close October 18, 2009. Approximately 2.5 hours should be allotted for the test. If you need assistance or have questions on registration, you can email assess@mst.edu, call 341-4954, or stop by G5B CSF (Campus Support Facility).
